Meet the Dietitian
Hi! I’m Eliza
I am an anti-diet, gender-inclusive, and weight-inclusive dietitian, empowering others to heal their relationship with food and movement, while developing respect for their bodies.
As a clinician who struggled with my relationship with food and body, I can provide empathy and support from a different perspective.
I know what it’s like to struggle and how hard, yet fulfilling, recovery is.
I am passionate about helping people find freedom from diet culture and food guilt to live a life without letting food rules dictate their lives. I believe that whole-person care should be incorporated to support one’s recovery.
I was born and raised in a beautiful country in Southeast Asia called Malaysia. There, I grew up on an island, where we are known for our rich food culture and sandy white beaches. I moved to the U.S. in 2018 to further my education and completed my Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics at Loma Linda University. I completed my dietetic internship at Loma Linda University Medical Center and Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital.
I have experience working in eating disorder treatment, including partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient hospitalization for children, teens, and adults. I am also experienced in providing in-patient care to provide care for those in mental health crises.

Acknowledgment
I want to acknowledge the privileges I hold as an Asian, cisgender, thin, and able-bodied practitioner. My goals as a dietitian are to continue educating myself, working on reducing harm in my practice, and understanding important issues that those I work with face, such as implicit/explicit bias, discrimination, racism, fatphobia, ableism, and healthism.
